A Collaboration Agreement was signed between the federal government and the Association of Real Estate Developer.
On June 24, 2015 a Collaboration Agreement was signed between the federal government and the Association of Real Estate Developers (ADI) in the president’s official residence, Los Pinos. At the event, current real estate projects being undertaken by ADI members throughout the country were presented.
The president observed the models of the projects, which represent investments of over 18 billion dollars, almost the same amount as that invested by ADI members over the past 20 years. Javier Sordo Madaleno Bringas, President of SOMA and a member of ADI, had the opportunity to present to the Mexican president the Picacho Lifestyle Center mixed-use project under development in the south of Mexico City.
The event was attended by the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, Secretary of Rural, Territorial and Urban Development, Jesús Murillo Karam, Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, and the President of the Association of Real Estate Developers, Jaime Alverde Losada.
This major investment demonstrates the confidence of the real estate sector in Mexico’s continued development. The agreement celebrates and upholds this confidence, in order to continue to act as one of the engines that drives Mexico forward.
