On October 18, 2014 Javier Sordo Madaleno de Haro presented a lecture at the third Tijuana Innovadora conference, whose theme was “The Mexican Diaspora, the talent that flew north.”

The architect’s lecture underscored the importance of offering quality spaces within an architectural project. Spaces where users feel safe and comfortable spending time, and which foster social interaction. He also spoke of the need for renewal in the field of construction in cities, because architecture serves as an engine for new business, a key to boosting the local and national economy.
