Architect Javier Sordo Madaleno Bringas discusses his projects at the Annual Latin America Conference of the Urban Land Institute
On October 29, 2015, the Annual Latin America Conference of the Urban Land Institute opened at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, Florida, with the participation of members and non-members of ULI (Urban Land Institute), which has won recognition for its activities in land use and the real estate industry in Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America.
Many activities were held at the event, including the presence of keynote speakers, round table sessions with experts, interactive conferences, and others.
Javier Sordo Madaleno participated in panel 4, entitled “Mixed Used Projects: The New Mantra,” speaking of his extensive experience and new trends in both built mixed-use projects such as Antara, Toreo and Andares, and projects currently under development like ARTZ Pedregal and The Landmark.
He was joined on the panel by Antonio Jalaff from the Chilean developer Patio and by Sarah Kimes from Callison RTKL. The panel was chaired by Juan Carlos López Madrigal of Schondule Abogados, who has more than 10 years of experience in Mexico in areas including property, environmental, urban, and business law, and litigation.
